Oggi, 10 settembre 2007, abbiamo anticipato e formalizzato la nostra visita di domani negli Uffici di Milano del Parlamento Europeo, con un comunicato che vi offriamo, per mettervi a conoscenza del  completo decorso di tutta la manifestazione e domani stesso pubblicheremo la stesura definitiva del I° Manifesto dei cittadini europei, fotografato così come lo abbiamo consegnato.

Siamo perfettamente consapevoli che siamo poca cosa, solo una goccia nel mare dell’umanità, ma siamo anche consapevoli che l’inerzia non produce nessuna reazione, mentre una semplice palla di neve che scivola, può nella sua leggerezza iniziale scivolare senza troppo rumore, ma può  anche arrivare a produrre una reazione a catena sino a diventare una valanga.

Questo è l’effetto che ci auguriamo.

Leaflets will be printed and handed out to passers-by to explain the reason for the rally.  I have translated the text into English with the Italian version below.  May I suggest that SIOE also prepare leaflets along these lines in several different languages for distribution on the day.  I would be happy to help out with translations:

First European International Gathering in support of the values of the Constitutional Charters and the Laws in force in the European States, as well as the International Declaration of Human Rights for all the nations who have signed it, we stand together against the Islamisation of Europe:

WE SAY:
YES To respect of the Constitutional Charters of the European Nations,
YES to respect of the existing Laws of the European Nations,
YES to integration and the free circulation of ideas,
YES to religious and artistic expression
YES to the application of the Declaration of Human Rights
YES to Freedom and the Rule of Law
YES to the right of criticism and satire
YES to multiculturalism in the true sense of the word, meaning respect for everyone's rights, which does  not mean taking advantage of democracy in order to impose views on others that are alien to them
YES to Democracy and democratic debate
YES to understanding and the appreciation of differences

WE SAY:

NO  to Sharia in the Italian and European Courts
NO  to the application of Sharia Law within the Muslim community
NO  to the separation of women and men and between indigenous populations and immigrants
NO  to sexual, religious, cultural, social and political discrimination
NO  to the subdivision of societies and social classes with different rights,
NO  to poligamy
NO  to teocracy
NO  to religious hatred.
